"Parting of the Waters" explores my fascination with the ocean’s shifting energy; its ability to move with power yet remain deeply still. I was interested in how motion can feel both physical and meditative, how the sea can feel both powerful and calm at once. The areas of negative white space creates a sense of pause, like a breath between waves. Through this balance of flow and calm, this piece reflects the ocean’s constant state of change and its capacity to hold both power and serenity.
